  • As Engineering Manager for Marketplace, I lead a team of 10 engineers that built the web and mobile storefronts of a headless ecommerce platform from scratch and shipped them to production - Next.js on web, React Native on mobile - that is transforming online commerce in Paraguay. I took the product from the initial concept to launch, working cross-functionally with product, design, and business to shape the vision, the roadmap, and the early validation.
  • I set the technical bar for the platform - CI/CD, automated testing, performance optimization, and clean integrations with APIs, CMS, search engines, and PIM/DAM systems - and, just as deliberately, grow the people behind it: hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and career paths so the team scales with the product.
  • I'm also responsible for the growth team: the squad that grows the marketplace through continuous experimentation - hypotheses, A/B tests, and impact measurement across every step of the funnel - with a focus on acquisition and activation: SEO and performance on entry pages, campaign support, and an onboarding that turns visits into active users. Nothing gets scaled without data behind it.

  • As Engineering Manager I owned the technology of Camelus, an Argentine fintech regulated by the BCRA, and took it from a single lending product to five financial products in production - loans, check discounting, investments, insurance and a digital wallet - across an iOS and Android app, a public web app, a staff back-office and an insurance portal.
  • I designed the platform as four backends and five clients that share no database: one service issues identity, a stateless BFF re-signs a short-lived token on every request, and each domain owns its own data and events. Because this is money and legal paperwork, the sensitive paths got the strict treatment - electronic signatures with HMAC-verified webhooks, TOTP on privileged actions, biometrics and a session lock on mobile, and an audit row for every back-office write.
